xCOLD is an all-encompassing, modular refrigeration system that runs directly on the power of sunlight. By utilizing power from a solar PV array, our patented energy control system is designed for maximum efficiency to produce temperatures down to 17°F (-8°C). Now that’s cool!

100% off-grid cooling capability

The xCOLD is designed to be capable of running on 100% solar power to produce a cool environment anywhere the sun shines. The system run full blast on 6 PV solar panels. When the sun isn’t shining, the xCOLD is capable of using backup power sources such as a battery bank, generator, or the conventional energy grid. This allows you to have a climate controlled shelter set up anywhere in a matter of minutes!

Space agnostic

As we researched the potential market for off-grid cooling, we came to realize that everyone had different types of spaces they wanted to keep cool—ranging from shipping containers to tents to root cellars. That is why we designed xCOLD to be space agnostic. We don’t preference one space over another. What we care about is providing a product that can meet your cooling needs for whatever space you have.

Modular, Mobile Design

Split Form Factor

Ideal for cooling hard to reach please or for more controlled cooling applications. Tethered by flexible cables, you have the ability to place the evaporator unit up to 60 feet away from the base control unit. For example, if you wanted to cool your root cellar—place the base control unit outside attached to the PV panels and place the evaporator (head) unit inside the space attached via the flex cables.

Stacked form factor

Perfect for quick deployments—start blowing cold air in a matter of minutes! Just attach the xCOLD to your cooler space, plug in the solar panels and have cold air flowing in no time!
